What is a Solar Farm

Solar farms are mini-power stations, but unlike other forms of energy generation they blend into the countryside, causing no disturbance and making no noise. And the electricity is 100% renewable. They are made up of solar panels mounted on metal frames and arranged in rows across an unshaded section of land. A 5MW solar farm would require just under 20,000 panels and 20-25 acres of land.
